Holidays are coming....Holidays are coming...

Hey everyone,

So sorry for letting the weeks fly without a post. Since Winton Community Forum, I’ve been busy busy busy, working on 'The Word', having Exec team meetings and organising the SUBU section in Nerve and sorting deadlines for all publications for next term.

In addition to that, I’ve been working on SUBU's communications strategy with the Comms Department to ensure that we have a clear outline of the departments aims and objectives and how we work with the varying departments in the Student's Union.

Within my Exec Team, including Laura, Tufan, Steven and Emily we’ve been visiting Lansdowne Campus and have been working with the University to ensure over the Christmas period the SUBU area in Bournemouth House gets repainted and revamped to make it more user-friendly. I've also had my environmental session enhancing the usability of our website www.subu.org.uk, whilst also keeping the news stories up-to-date.

I'm now looking forward to Christmas and the New Year. I've been clearing my desk today and realised how quickly the last term has gone. The spring term should be exciting we the Elections, SUBU Not for Profit Campaign, Sexual Health awareness week and Fair-trade fortnight. There is so much going on so make sure you pick up a copy of 'The Word' or visit www.subu.org.uk/theword to find out all the latest news and events.

Have a great Christmas,
